Anime Detour= Good Con!

I had a pretty good time. There was plenty of people I knew there so I didn't feel as isolated compared to Anime Iowa.

The best sellers at artist alley were...

Okami on the Rocks (7 out of 10 sold!) [link]

MP and HP potions (sold about 6 of em) [link]

Anything Kyo from Fruits Basket related. (The fangirls can't get enough of him...)

3 commissions: 2 Okami themed. 1 Bleach (which I have yet to do...)

Sold two comixpress published TPCTH books.

I also sold everything in the auction (and this time saw the people taking their prizes away so I'm getting the monies for sure this time. Last years people bet yet didn't take them Sunday and I got the stuff mailed back to me.)

The auction stuff was: Cute treasure chest, Bishojo, Magical girl, bishie box(no picture) and Fruits Basket rocks(no picture). [link]

DON'T SPEND ANY MONEY IN THE DEALERS ROOM!
(Unless they are artists...)

The next con is Anime Central. My first time at a HUGE con. Wish me luck.

Aw, man, I thought the con was kind of a bummer, since I had to wait in that godawful line Friday (two hours to get a badge I'd already paid for? SUCKTASTIC), I wasn't interested in any of the panels, it was fucking hot through out, 'scuze my french, and the wretched scent of BO pervaded the place so strongly even my friend with zero sense of smell could whiff it. The only bright spot was Saturday night when I became horribly, horribly drunk and got my hair caught on a door hinge. That was pretty funny. Oh, and talking in moe voices. That was kinda fun too, since I was drunk. The hangover on Sunday wasn't too fun, however.

Glad you made some money though. Way to go!

The line wait did suck. Especially waiting in list with narutard middle schoolers. Usually at anime cons the artist alley people get their own badge pick up line and we get the badges right away. So I had to suffer with everyone else.
I missed out on the panels this year. There was none featuring webcomics...

Yeah, it was slim pickings all around panel wise unless you cosplay. The Greg Ayres panel on sunday was all right even though I was slightly hung over. You were probably stuck in artist alley all day though, huh?
